# How does SPE stand out from the rest of the environmental projects?

SPE becomes unique in part to the third approach we mentioned early on. We turn to innovation to bring about an evolution to eco-conscious actions. Case in point, the growing trend of cryptocurrency. By inserting the concept of carbon credits as an entity in the blockchain, we can make it decentralized, transparent and accessible. For that, we became the first to ever create the fully-accredited Carbon Credits NFTs (or CCNFTs). In December 2021, we sold limited edition CCNFTs in a move that was well-received in the crypto sphere, while on top of unveiling our very own launchpad for other startups sharing our mutual interests and goals.
